After three months of dating, Amanda Seyfried, 25, and Ryan Phillippe, 36, have called an end to their three-month romance.
“They are not dating anymore," a source reveals to Us Magazine. "And it’s not a big deal for either of them.”
That seemed clear on Saturday when Phillippe hit on Rihanna, 22, at the Gucci/Roc Nation brunch at L.A.'s Soho House.
"He said something to the effect of, 'What are you doing tonight?'" a witness tells the new issue of Us Weekly.
As for his short-lived fling with Seyfried, a second insider explains, "At one point, there was a chance it would develop into something more serious, but it never did."
Rihanna is the latest celebrity set to launch her own signature perfume ... utilizing scents from her tropical upbringing in Barbados.
Reb’l Fleur is a mixture of ripe fruits, sumptuous floral notes, as well as a musky mix of vanilla, patchouli and amber. The sexy singer actually drew the inspiration from her grandma when deciding on a name for the scent.
How sweet! Apparently the Good Girl Gone Bad singer has been experimenting with perfume mixtures for quite awhile, so it wasn’t much of a stretch for the curvaceous beauty to dive right into the creation of her new fragrance. RiRi tells People:
“Over the years, I layered many different scents to get something that was truly my own. But I wanted…something that said ‘Rihanna was here.’ Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”
Pulling in a handsome paycheck, Rihanna was front and center for the New Year's celebration at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday night (December 31).
Making her way around the Caesars Palace venue, the Barbadian beauty happily tended to hostess obligations while joined by a few friends to ring in 2011.
Time for Rihanna to pen a new break-up ballad: After almost a year together, she and Matt Kemp have called it quits, an insider close to the singer tells Us Magazine.
"It happened over the last few weeks," explains the source. "She basically was just over it."
A rep for Rihanna (she's currently vacationing with family in her native Barbados) could not be reached for comment.
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Kemp, 26, helped Rihanna, 22, move on from Chris Brown, who infamously assaulted her in February 2009. The duo were first spotted frolicking together in Cabo San Lucas last January, and slowly opened up about their romance in the spring.
But the "Only Girl" singer has been "so busy," the insider says. "He just can't keep up with her crazy travel schedule."
"Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal," the source adds.
Plus, the insider says, "It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun."
Stilll, back in May, Kemp gushed about his love: "She's just a fun person. I love to be around her."
In June, Rihanna similarly said of Kemp: "I'm so happy. I feel really comfortable and it's so easy. [The relationship] is just my peace. It keeps me sane."
In the December issue of Interview, the 22-year-old "What's My Name" singer hints that motherhood may soon be on the horizon.
"I don't really plan on the age. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right," Rihanna tells the mag. "I mean, I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids. Whenever the time is right, I'll just know."
This much is certain: the pop star, who began dating L.A. Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp in January, wants an all-male household.
"If I had a girl, she'd probably be really rebellious," the singer laughs. "She would be like a bundle of karma."
As for where she would raise her brood, Rihanna says she "would love to bring them up in Barbados," though her job may prevent that from becoming a reality.
"I can't live that far away from everything now, without kids," she explains. "So I certainly couldn't raise kids and [have a career] with the demanding schedule that I have."
Known to be close friends, Rihanna and Katy Perry were spotted landing together at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening (November 17).
The musician gal pals were both back on the west coast after separate promotional efforts in New York City - as Rihanna made multiple appearances for her new album "Loud" while Katy held a launch event for her just-launched scent "Purr".
She's fresh off of getting married to comedian Russell Brand, and Katy Perry is now featured on the December 2010 cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine.
In the interview, the "Thinking of You" singer talks about being Mrs. Brand, her risqué style, body image, and more while having partaken in a glamorous photo shoot accompanying the spread.
On her husband, Russell Brand, and his spiritual quest, Katy tells, “I always knew I wanted a great man of God, someone who was going to be an inspiration for people and also be a lovely husband and father. We’re at different places in our lives, but we can still grow together. He’s thought-provoking, articulate, a real advocate. I also definitely wanted to have a laugh. I have all that in him.”
As for being part of a new generation of pop stars including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Fergie, Perry dishes, “We’re all unique. That’s why we all win and we all can exist. People don’t want just vanilla. They want 31 flavors. I couldn’t do what Rihanna does. I couldn’t do what Gaga does. They can’t do what I do.”
Also touching on her image, Perry dishes, “I’m kind of a good girl—and I’m not,” she says. “I’m a good girl because I really believe in love, integrity, and respect. I’m a bad girl because I like to tease. I know that I have sex appeal in my deck of cards. But I like to get people thinking. That’s what the stories in my music do.”
