Comic actor Tom Arnold recently spent some time at the Betty Ford Clinic -- and it's rumored that his stay at the famed rehab overlapped with that of Lindsay Lohan.Arnold, 51, dodged confirming that point during a Thursday interview on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show, but spoke at length about the actress, 24, ordered by a judge to remain at the Rancho Mirage, Calif. center until Jan. 3, 2011.
"Lindsay Lohan is a very good person who is a really nice gal and is doing very well," Arnold told Howard Stern. "That's all I have to say about that."
The Roseanne star, who has battled with drugs and alcohol before, checked into Betty Ford earlier this year to deal with an addiction to painkillers. While there, he said he observed "a lot of young people in rehab that I really am scared for and have stayed in touch with," he said.
Stern and his sidekick Robin Quivers grilled Arnold about Lohan's demeanor and wardrobe in rehab, but he wouldn't budge."I can't even confirm she was there!" he insisted.
Still he said, "She's doing really good. A lot of the young kids are doing really good. I can only say that she's great."
"All she needs is an a**hole like me talking about her treatment and her recovery," he pointed out. "That’s the last thing she needs. She's doing great."
